Welcome to the official website of the documentary movie Gridlock: Public Transit in SE Wisconsin. In production now for almost two years, Gridlock is not a pro-con survey of the transit situation, but instead comes at the issue from many sides. An underlying theme, as reflected in the title, is the lack of progress in resolving this situation.

This documentary will be a one-stop-shop for comprehensive information on public transportation systems being considered for SE Wisconsin. Gridlock will also explore transit scenarios in major metropolitan areas, nationwide. Civic leaders, experts and just plain folk will provide a forum that will address this unanswered question: Do we want one and, if so, what will it be and how do we go about getting it.

Our intentions are to screen this feature length movie at film festivals, special interest group events, select theatrical venues and broadcast television. Completion is scheduled for September, 2008. Browse away and please, let us know what you think.
